Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Perqz ("we"), operated by Yazh Entertainment Systems, collects, why, and your rights. By using Perqz you agree to this policy. We process data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

• Device identifier (a browser fingerprint) — to recognise your session without a login.
• Survey answers — the options/text you choose.
• Approximate location — derived from your IP/edge for relevance (no permission needed).
• Optional, only if you provide them: name, gender, age band, state/city, precise GPS, WhatsApp number, address, ID document, and consent photos collected by a field agent.
• Engagement — ad videos watched, points, and push-notification subscriptions.

2. Why we use it

To run the survey and rewards, prevent fraud/duplicate entries, show relevant questions and brand videos by region, contact winners, send (opt-in) reminders, and produce aggregated insights for brands.

3. Sharing with brands

Brands see aggregated results and, where you have consented (e.g. answering "Yes, contact me" or being surveyed by a field agent), leads that may include your area, the answer that qualified you, and the contact details you shared. We do not sell your raw personal data.

4. WhatsApp, location & notifications

WhatsApp is used only for verification, winner contact, and messages you opt into; your number is verified when you message us. Precise location and push are optional and can be declined. Messaging is delivered via Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.

5. Retention

We keep data while your participation is active and as needed for prize administration, legal, and anti-fraud purposes, then delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw consent, or nominate a person to exercise your rights, by emailing privacy@perqz.in. Withdrawing consent may remove your prize eligibility.

7. Children

Perqz is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Security

Data is stored with our processors (e.g. Supabase, Vercel) using access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your data and notify you of breaches as required by law.
